Great to see the action from HQ. Out in Los Angeles, we (two or three) locals were on sales calls most of the day, and didn't make time to celebrate together. So these images are a nice reminder of a wonderful time. Thank you Erik, and Ross, and Neil, and Nate, and Gary, and everyone else who kicked so much ass to make VIGN take off. Yeah, I remember Con (and other engineers) being really interested in updates on pre-sales action. So refreshing to have that integration in a company.

A reference to Kill Bill is accurate, especially when Nate showed a sly smile at certain junctures during a "meeting". True savoir faire, from each of them Ross, and I was lucky to learn from the masters.

Great story ... and I suspect other SE's have similar tales. I know I do. When my nervousness came out onto my forehead, it was more often caused by "oh-man-I-dont-know-all-the-answers-and-some-troublemaker-in-the-audience-is-gonna-find-my-weak-spot-and-exploit-it-for-personal-amusement". But when I look back (1998-2002 in the West), it had only been my perfectionism gnawing away at me. Besides, being the SE for the awesome Gary Wright (1998-99), most of the tricky sales judo had already been dispatched (by him).
